Take Off Your Pants and Jacket (2001)

Take Off Your Pants and Jacket is Blink-182's fourth studio album. It was released on June 12, 2001 by MCA Records, and contained the hit singles "The Rock Show", "First Date" and "Stay Together for the Kids". The album sold around 4.5 million records worldwide while going double platinum in the US. It was originally printed with three different editions, each with a different CD label (the red "take off" plane, the yellow pants, and the green jacket). These editions were also packed in Digipak cases. Each different type of CD had a separate duo of hidden tracks, one serious, the other a joke song. The bonus tracks were only available on the original pressings of the three variations, however "Time To Break Up" appears on "The Rock Show" single and on "Atticus: ...dragging the lake". "Don't Tell Me It's Over" and "Mother's Day" both appear on the "First Date" single. "Don't Tell Me It's Over" also appears on "Atticus: ...dragging the lake, Vol. 2". The album's title is a tongue-in-cheek pun on male masturbation ("take off your pants and jack it").

The album was a huge success debuting at #1 and selling more than 350,000 copies in its first week on the Billboard 200 becoming the band's first and only album to do so, and is Blink-182's second best selling album.

On the clean version of the album the track "Happy Holidays, You Bastard" is listed as just "Happy Holidays", and is an instrumental with the exception of the last line "I'll never talk to you again".
