BUSTED - A Tocket For Everyone:Live [2005]

A Ticket for Everyone is a live album by British pop rock band Busted. It contains twelve tracks recorded during the Manchester leg of their Present for Everyone tour, plus the studio version of "Thunderbirds Are Go!", which had been released as a stand-alone single in July 2004.

The album contains live versions of all nine of their British singles, including both tracks from the double A-side "3am/Thunderbirds", and "She Wants to Be Me", which was issued in its original form three weeks after this album. A cover of the 1978 Undertones song "Teenage Kicks" and the Present for Everyone album track "That Thing You Do" round out the album.

Bourne, Simpson and Willis were augmented by Chris Banks, Damon Wilson and Chris Leonard.

On bbc.co.uk, Adam Cumiskey stated: "The live element of this album is slightly staid: there's no improvisation in the songs; they sound exactly like the singles. However, with their swagger and confidence... they manage to resist sounding like a contestant in a battle of the bands competition".

An accompanying DVD featuring footage from the Manchester concerts was released with the same title.

Unlike their two studio albums, A Ticket for Everyone was only a minor hit on the UK Albums Chart, peaking at number 11. Busted officially split up two months after its release.

BUSTED - A Present For Everyone [2003]

A Present for Everyone is the second studio album by British pop rock band Busted. It was released in November 2003 by Universal Island Records and debuted at number 2 on the UK Albums Chart.[1] It became a triple platinum album with sales of over one million.[2]

Eight of the fifteen tracks were co-written with Tom Fletcher from McFly, while "She Wants to Be Me" and "3am" were co-written with production team The Matrix. "Fake" and "Better Than This" were collaborations between Matt Willis, Guy Chambers and Steve Power; James Bourne and Neve guitarist Michael Raphael wrote "Can't Break Thru".

Five songs were released as singles: "Crashed the Wedding", "Who's David?", "Air Hostess", "3am" and "She Wants to Be Me". "3am" was issued with the non-album track "Thunderbirds Are Go!" as a double A-side (see "Thunderbirds/3am").

Critical reaction to the album was generally positive. On bbc.co.uk, Nikki Smith writes: "They far outshine their boy band competitors, not just because of their ability to play instruments but also for the sheer energy and enthusiasm that comes through in their music".[3]

Allmusic states: "Though it's way too long at 15 tracks, the album at least sticks to its template of earnest, slightly bawdy tales of boys and girls wrapped around peppy, ultra-slick, and sickeningly in-the-moment guitar pop.

Busted(2002)-Busted

Busted is the first album by British pop rock band Busted. It was released in Britain in September 2002 and peaked at number 2 the following January after the success of second single "Year 3000". "What I Go to School For", "You Said No" and "Sleeping with the Light On" were also released as singles and all reached the top 3 of the UK Singles Chart.

Busted was reissued soon after its initial release with three bonus tracks — "When Day Turns Into Night", "Everything I Knew" and "Extra Exceedingly Fitness" — while "Crash and Burn" adopted its single title of "You Said No". "Extra Exeedingly Fitness", a short interlude on guitar, is not written on the album artwork.

Six tracks were co-written with John McLaughlin and/or Steve Robson, who often collaborate with each other. The other five songs were written by the band themselves.

Both "What I Go to School For" and "Year 3000" were covered by the Jonas Brothers in 2006.
