Classic FM presents 'Guitar - The Ultimate Classical Guitar Album', a sensational collection of the warmest, most soothing classical guitar pieces, on 2 CDs. This album is the first release of its kind for Classic FM, and features all of the genre's signature tracks over two hours of music.

With roots in Spain and the New World, the classical guitar evokes a sense of escape, vibrant colour and romance. 30 tracks on 2CDs including Tarrega's hypnotic 'Recuerdos de la Alhambra', Rodrigo's 'Concierto de Aranjuez' and the haunting 'Cavatina' from the film The Deer Hunter. Famous classical pieces are reworked for classical guitar, such as Satie's 'Gymnopedie no.3' and Elgar's 'Nimrod'. It even features a version of The Beatles' 'Here Comes The Sun'. In addition, the internationally renowned guitarist Craig Ogden has exclusively recorded 3 tracks for the album, including Einaudi's smash hits 'Le Onde' and 'Questa Notte', and a piece written specially for the album by Classic FM's very own John Brunning.
